1957 Topps Basketball Box Empty !!

Does anyone know the value of a 1957 Topps Basketball Box (Empty)--Excellent Condition No Tears---I know it is quite rare---and Mark Murphy's book states $2500----I just think that is too high any help here---thanks, Don
