What's your least favorite...?
I was just flipping through some old catalogs and saw the W512 Cobb (pictured) and though how it was a terrible looking card and got me thinking, "what are folks' least favorite cards of their favorite players?" We see everyone's favorite cards and best cards all the time, so let's see some of the opposite for a change.
So, you don't have to own the card to post it, but you need to get an image of whatever example you're going to choose. In addition to the W512 Cobb, I found these two Babe Ruth's that are just awful looking cards of a great player. 1. 1949 JK 5 Tohoku Karuta Ruth 2. 1933 R337 Eclipse Import Ruth

Not a fan of T207's - never owned one before and don't plan to. Not sure what the artists were thinking with the lack of variety and drab brown backgrounds.
Ditto for the E91 set - especially considering the art is generic and looks like none of the real players. |

I agree about the E91 set - what a total waste! The W512 with all the lip-stick - UGH! ...and then there's the M302-2 set...done by a child perhaps? .

Yes, those are ugly.
And despite their value, the 1948 Leaf cards are terrible ugly. |

While the sets being discussed are unappealing sets, I was asking for examples of terrible looking cards of players. Not just ugly sets. We can all agree that e91's suck as do most strip cards, but I'm looking for specific cards of our favorite players that are unappealing. With Examples shown. Any more examples out there guys?

The E91 “series A” is NOT a generic set. It depicts the players as accurately as some of the in action T206 cards. Unfortunately, they didn’t stop with that issue and then generically re-used images of older players for the “Series B” and “Series C” sets. That is how Honus Wagner (series C) looks like Joe Tinker with a new uniform. I actually really like the first series of the E91 set and feel it is pretty undervalued.
