Default Just Consigned My Collection

So, I just consigned my entire collection. Many of the cards I've had for decades and just days...but it just felt the right time to leave the hobby from a collecting standpoint. Instead of feeling regret, I feel happy and grateful that the few thousand dollars I'll get will be going to something much more important. In a stange way, I feel like a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders. Everyone here has been great and I want to thank everyone for their kindness and knowledge

Sounds like you are at peace with your decision. Just curious, what was the focus of your collection?

Selling the last of my former business partner's collection to Chandy Greenholt was a great feeling for me. I may one day thin the heard, but as Frank Nagy used to say,"I do love them cards."

Good Luck! Most say a 'clean break' is the way to go.

"Good Night, Good night! Parting is such sweet sorrow, that I shall say good night till it be morrow."

Sorry to see you go, sounds like you're at peace with the chosen path. If you ever get lonely, stop by and chat awhile. Someone will always be here to answer the door.

Lovely Day...

Ha Ha! Now THAT'S funny! I still have a full-time job in the hobby. It is just time to leave the collecting aspect. I don't want to be overly dramatic and would like to pop in my head from time to time. The main point of this thread was to just thank those who have supported or have been so kind to me over the past 8+ years. As to the question of what did I collect? My answer is a "to hell if I know!"
