Default The Final Harry Agganis Piece?

Note this was postmarked June 26, 1955. Agganis passed away suddenly the following day!

Nice PC, but coincidence that it was mailed, and maybe by the team. The PC is of course facsimile signed

Since it's mailed from Lynn, and he was in the hospital in Cambridge it was probably mailed by a family member. I can't see the team mailing it from Lynn.

An interesting coincidence, and a bit sad as well.

The title of the thread ("The Final Harry Agganis Piece?") is misleading, since it's not an actual autograph. And we don't know when the card was made, so there could be something that was made after the card (presuming we're talking about items made during his lifetime, since of course anyone can produce a Harry Agganis item in 2017 as long as all the licensing and other legalities are taken care of).

That does not take away from the fact that this is a very awesome piece. I would think, because it's postmarked the day before he passed, it would occupy a special place in any Harry Agganis collection.
