Default Signed "Joltin" Joe Dimaggio

Looking for assistance on current market value of my "Joltin" Joe Dimaggio autograph. I received signature in person at a memorabilia show signing in the early 90's...although I have pictures of being at the show and ticket stub from the signing I did get a JSA cert years later in the event I planned to sell...So all the paperwork is correct...I know Dimaggio autographs are plentiful but anything other than a basic first and last name signature was difficult to acquire...Any assistance as to value would be appreciated...Thanks, Mike

Yes...Signed in person in the early 1990's. I was around13 or14 years old at the time. And asked "Mr Dimaggio would you please sign it "Joltin" Joe Dimaggio" he looked down, signed and passed down the table to his right. He took less than a nano second with each person in line...We had 3 or 4 items signed that day. (Only the one item was signed Joltin)...One of the items signed at the show we had brought for Bill Diebold (who owned Everything Baseball in Oakland NJ and still remains a family friend for almost 25 years) he put eyes on the signature the day it was signed when we returned from the show to drop off his item....I had JSA authenticate in 2006 as at the time it was becoming clear that if you ever wanted to sell an item the vast majority of buyers would insist on a cert....I've attached the ticket stub for the autograph and the JSA cert....

There is no doubt that it's authentic, just not very attractive.

Not sure I've ever seen a Joltin Joe before. Quite desirable... however the postal cover doesn't help. If it was on a ball or photo....

It's great placement on the cover though. If I owned it, I'd mat out the cover so it looks like a cut signature and pair it with a nice photo.

??? It's certainly more valuable as a cover with his picture, than as a cut.

I wasn't suggesting turning it into a cut, just matting it with just the signature showing and pairing it with a nice picture. Someone said they found the postal cover less desirable than other mediums and I could just picture what it would look like with Tony's framing job done to it.

This is just a guess: I think it would sell for between $300 and $450. The signature is very messy and the medium is uninspiring.
