Default What happened to the Hunt auctions?

I had three items I was watching the clock on, and they all closed early.

I won one of them, so that's good.

Sometimes I wonder about them. A few days ago I requested a back scan on one of the cards, was told it was coming. Never got it and did not bid, would have gladly paid more than it sold for if the back was ok. I would not want my card presented that way to any potential bidder.

I got this email explaining what happened.

Subject: Hunt Auctions 2/15/2017 Internet Auction Bidding Issue
Date: Wed, 15 Feb 2017 23:42:22 -0500 (EST)
From: CustomerService@huntauctions.com

If you are receiving this mass email you were affected by a system error that caused a small amount of lots within our 2/15 Internet auction to inadvertently close at 10:43pm ET. We apologize for this issue and in order to be fair to all affected parties we will be re-opening these lots ONLY for bidding effective immediately. The bidding will close for these lots ONLY at 12noon ET tomorrow with the normal 20 minute interval timer enacted at that point. Again, we apologize for any confusion caused by this error and please be aware that if you received a winning bidder notice or outbid notice related to the affected lots to disregard as these lots will be re-opened for bidding until 12 noon on 2/16/2017.

All other items within the auction that were closed to bidding before the system error will remain closed and were not affected.

Thank you for your understanding and feel free to call our office number for any questions tomorrow morning in advance of the new time close for the affected lots.

How many more issues are we going to see with on line auctions before someone starts to wonder what the heck is going on?

Haha yep! We had a place called "The Auction Barn" near me that I LOVED going to! But some law firm bought the property 🙁 If I was located closer to yours I would definitely be a regular!!
