Bill Walker and Pat Crawford

Bill Walker helped the Cardinals a bit in 1934.

He had the best ERA in the NL in 1929 and 1931. Was 3rd best in 1930.

Wow! You guys have some great stuff. I really like the mix of cards, autographs and memorabilia ...

Does anybody have a DeLong of Pepper Martin? It's a great horizontal image of him sliding. I wish I had one. Also, I don't believe I've seen a Tattoo Orbit of any Cardinals ...

And JDrum, I'm without a Wheaties... After seeing your Wheaties, and Brian's Star Candy Rothrock, I'm going to check around from time to time for something like that. Nice stuff!

another one...

Ray Blades, St. Louis Cardinals, 1922-1928, 1930-1932. He coached

for the high flyin' Redbirds 1930-1932, coached for the Reds in
1942, for Brooklyn 1947 and 1948, with the Cardinals again in
1951, and then for the Cubs 1953-1956. He must have seen some
stuff... Ruth and those 'other' Yankees in the 1926 and 1928
World Series, The Gashouse Gang in their glory, Mr. Mack's 1930
and 1931 A's in the World Series, Jackie Robinson in Brooklyn,
Mays, Musial, and Banks...

I thought I had him on an Exhibit from his playing days, but
can't find the box it's hiding in, if I still have it... Here's a
1954 Topps card, and a signed 3x5. This is posted in response to
the kind email from DM.
