Default c. 1910 Columbia photo

Hi all,

I just picked this up, the listing said they thought it was Columbia University team, but that didn't make sense to me, college teams usually took their photo's in front of a building or something on the campus. I thought it might be the Columbia Gamecocks of the South Atlantic League, but on the T210 cards all their uniforms are dark, and the hats have a "C" on them. There are 29 places in the United States named Columbia:

Columbia - Wisconsin - America
Columbia - West Virginia - America
Columbia - Washington - America
Columbia - Virginia - America
Columbia - Utah - America
Columbia - US - America
Columbia - Tennessee - America
Columbia - South Dakota - America
Columbia - South Carolina - America
Columbia - Pennsylvania - America
Columbia - Ohio - America
Columbia - North Carolina - America
Columbia - New Jersey - America
Columbia - New Hampshire - America
Columbia - Missouri - America
Columbia - Mississippi - America
Columbia - Maryland - America
Columbia - Maine - America
Columbia - Louisiana - America
Columbia - Kentucky - America
Columbia - Iowa - America
Columbia - Indiana - America
Columbia - Illinois - America
Columbia - Florida - America
Columbia - Delaware - America
Columbia - Connecticut - America
Columbia - California - America
Columbia - Arizona - America
Columbia - Alabama - America

I'm pretty sure this is not from California or Arizona, but does this team look familiar to any of you, or is it another one of those "could be from anywhere" photos? I think the photographer name on the mount says "Hills." Any thoughts appreciated.

Was it listed as 1910 or is the date on the back of the photo? I think the T210 colors may be misleading. Here’s a 1910 Columbia, SC team photo for comparison.

John, thanks, those uniforms do look pretty close, I can't enlarge your picture on my iPad very well, but the sock stripes, the "Columbia" on the front, very close. I put circa. 1910 based on the style, but I have no idea the actual date. I would be excited if it is the Gamecocks.
