Default Ruth Auto---Real or Memorex?

I am posting this copy from the EBay Sports Board w/ the 2 photos the writer included:

What do you think as to authenticity? I have already voiced an opinion, but I figured you guys would be much more appropriate to ask!

I recently acquired an autograph album with about 70 autographs. There was a Jim Braddock and a Babe Ruth. All others are Hollywood-type autographs. From the names in the album, I believe it dates from the late 1930's to the early 1940's. Most people have disappeared into history but there is a Jack Benny and a Bob Hope, along with Dorothy Arnold DiMaggio, Joe's first wife. Everything is period with look, age, etc consistent throughout. Everything about the album says the Ruth auto is legit. At face value, I believe it is. However, I can't remember seeing a Ruth auto where the "u" in Ruth is looped. I did have the opportunity to show it to a man who is an autograph specialist with a major auction house. He said he was 50/50 on it and asked that I send him a scan this week so he could study it more. Here are two scans of the autograph. The first are the facing pages of the album, the second a close up. I welcome opinions. Thanks.

Default The Six Degrees of Clarence Rutherford

Don't know about the Ruth auto but Helen Parrish is quite the fox, is she not? Here's a couple of her signed items I found on the web. Raises a few doubts about her signature but I will leave that to the experts. Coincidentally, her first role as an actress was as Babe Ruth's baby daughter in Babe Comes Home in 1927. (Her last role was as Lumpy Rutherford's Mom in an episode of Leave it to Beaver in 1959).

I don't like the Ruth, at first glance, unless it was a "rushed, fast" example. The U and the way the "R" is formed don't look right.

Default Ruth Auto---Real or Memorex?

Does not look good to me either, the letters loop too much and just has that look that maybe someone just added it to have something included with the others

I claim no expertise in autograph authentication, but even with that background I'll go out on a limb and say that the same person signed both the athlete's and the actress's names.

I expected most of the answers given so far---Sure hope David A, Richard Simon and/or Jodi will chime in on this one!

Hardly being anything close to an autograph expert, I was reluctant to post an opinion, but now that Joseph has committed himself, I'll say that I also got the impression that the same person signed both autos. Similar florid style.
