Default Grading short cut T215s

Posted By: ty_cobb

I was offered a T215-1 Pirate back in private sale,
it again appeared in Aug. 2001 Mastro catalog. It
is my understanding these cards are usually short cut,
and usually 'factory cut short'.
It would appear that it could not be graded, are
there graded examples with the Pirate back? or
is this back type un-gradeable?

Default Grading short cut T215s

Posted By: Brian Weisner

Hi TY
The Pirate back is so tough to find, I doubt if anybody has seen enough of them to determine a pattern. I've never heard about these being short cut or ungradeable. Maybe Bob Lemke, FKW, or TBOB can give us the answer. be well brian

They are keenly aware of the short cut on such cards as these and the 460 broadleafs ect.
