Default Helping a great friend find a Don McMahon single signed ball

Hi Guys:

I have a great friend who is currently battling a very serious health issue. I am not an autograph collector at all so I am hoping someone out there can help me.

He has stopped adding to his collection, with the except for ONE thing a single signed ball of pitcher Don McMahon who played in the bigs from 1957 to 1974.

It is the last single signed ball he needs to complete his 1967 Red Sox collection He has every other player, coach and manager!

As mentioned I am not an autograph collector myself, but I do have signed Exhibit cards of Mantle and DiMaggio I have posted questions about previously in this forum, either of which I would gladly trade for a legit McMahon ball.

Please PM me if you can help. It will be GREATLY appreciated

Thanks,

Fred

Don McMahon was a great guy. I don't have a single-signed ball by him, but I did get a ball signed by him back in 1972. That was the first time my Dad let us hang out outside the visiting team exit at the Astrodome - when McMahon signed, he took his time and laid down a perfect signature.
