From their blog . . .

The spring auction catalogs will mail on April 16, 2012. We will put the auction online on approximately same date (we may be able to do this earlier as we are ahead of schedule) and the final date of bidding will be May 12, 2012.

Not rich, and not sure I'll bid.. there's one autograph I am looking for that if they have, I'll be a player. Otherwise, I'll look on in awe too

I always like putting in my measly bids at the very beginning and watch them get crushed. Kind of like sprinting to start a 10K...

Ironic that you said 10k when making a figurative expression comparing to REA.

One thing we all have to admit, no matter what our means/lack thereof are. ha., its the ULTIMATE Sports collectible auction of the year. To me, its like the National in a book. CANT WAIT TO GET MY CATALOGUE

Default Catalog

If you won lots last year, will they automatically send you a catalog this year or do you have to request one anyways?

You will automatically receive their catalog. Auction houses typically will send you a catalog if you are an active bidder, BTW...

Agreed. I've gotten REA catalogs for three years running now without ever having won a single lot from them. Underbidders make money for the auction house too, which I feel sure they appreciate

It's funny, as high end as REA is, it's where I got one of my two best deals in collecting. It was signed 52 Mathews for under a grand. Of course I sold it before the auto'd rookie craze really took off but still made a nice profit. I've never seen another.
