Default Cards are like women

Spend a lot of time thinking about the ones that you let go too early or never made a move on. And then years later you look them up and inevitably they look great.

I spend way too much money on both for a pretty bad ROI from both.

Might look great at first, but upon closer examination you determine they've been altered...

I dunno....I just looked up that Matty portrait in VG-EX I passed up in 90 and it has 4 kids with two dads and looks completely exasperated. But I am happy for it because it appears to be a on a little jaunt to Tampa, Florida. The "lower back tatoo" got it a "MK" from PSA.

FWIW, I'm still a buyer.

Frank, definitely pre-war, but I might take a chance on vintage pre-1970.

Women are like cards because they are both made of cardboard. Then again, men are like cards because they are also made of cardboard.

Women and men must be made of cardboard because you cannot see light through them when you hold them up to a lamp.

I tried to put a woman in the spokes of my bike once.

She made a horrendous sound that DID NOT sound like a motorcycle.

Lesson learned.

My favorite sets are M114, Jay Publishing, and on the non-sport side, Dixie Premiums. It’s the same with women - I like them in odd sizes!!

Top Ten Reasons Why Cards Are Better Than Women (just don't tell my wife):

10. Cards don't make you watch rom-coms instead of sports shows.

9. You can have multiple cards.

8. If you want to get rid of a card it won't cost you more than the purchase price.

7. Cards don't get pissed when you go to a card show.

6. Cards never want to go dancing.

5. You don't have to remember a card's anniversary.

4. A card you already have doesn't mind if you chase other cards.

3. You can leave a card in the hotel room all day at the National and it will still be there when you get back from the show.

2. Cards get more attractive as they age.

1. Card wrappers come off without a fight.

Thanks, you've been a great audience. Enjoy REO Speedwagon.

If you want to be happy for the rest of your life,

Never make a NM woman your wife.

So from my personal point of view

Get an ugly woman to marry you.

So has anyone ever tried to crack one out for a better grade?

Also, is PWCC or Probstein selling any at exorbitant prices?
