FS: 1949-1950 Habana Leones Fan Club ID Folio W/ Miguel Gonzalez Autograph

I have never seen one of these before. It is not a handmade piece, but rather was pre-printed and given out to fans of the Havana Leones ballclub. The fan would put a picture of him (or her in this case) self onto the area for the photo and sign his/her name underneath. The person's address would go on the other side along with a stamped signature of Miguel Gonzalez.

This lucky person also had three members of the 1949-1950 Habana team sign around her picture, including future major leaguer Carlos Pascual and manager Mike Gonzalez. Gonzalez played or managed in the majors and Cuba for 50 years. He lived in Cuba after the revolution and died there in 1977. His autograph is not especially easy.

The billfold is very sturdy with a linen-like texture. The Habana team logo is on the front cover of the item. Truly a remarkable piece that you are not likely to see again...which happens to also contain a very tough autograph.
