How'd we get to that determination? I'd like to include it in the 11th edition.

Adam....I have a 11X14 J Wood cabinet with the same pose. It is him, you must have other photos of McCarthy as he was well known. John

My scanner is down, but I can send you a photocopy, but will probably have to reduce the size. Let me know and send your address if you want a copy. John

John's right. The cabinet and the N692 are clearly the same guy. Glad we solved that mystery 150 years after the fact!

Default I'm not worthy

I can't believe I won this tonight. This moves into the top 10 cards I own and it was 2 hundos and the vig and shipping. I looked through the Leland's catalog over and over. About 2 hours before the close I saw this in "internet only" section. I can't believe it. So geeked...

Great card! Red Cross T219s are unbelievably tough to find so getting one of the keys is a heck of a pick-up for a collection.

The boxing stuff closed fast in Lelands last night; being in SoCal I was done with my bidding before I finished dinner. Several of my bids held and I ended up with over 2000 cards. Gonna be a hell of a sorting party!

Congratulations Adam. I was going to bid on a bunch of stuff, then I sat down to watch "The Magnificent Mrs. Maisel" with the wife, and before I knew it, I looked down at my phone, it was past 10pm and I went "Doh!"

Thank you Amazon!

I picked up three of the four large lots at the opening. Had one other bidder on the 4th lot--must've seen the 1915 Susini Tris Speaker in there. I basically paid a buck a card overall, which is hard to go wrong on; I will give it my best shot, though, and see if I can't lose money anyway .

Default SF Hess

Just started collecting again. Picked one of these up at Heritage and one at REA this past weekend.

Thanks, that's what I thought.

Nice Hess cards, JJ.

I guess, Adam's eBay store should have some more cards soon after winning 2000 of them.
