Default size?

I must be misunderstanding something. It says this photo is 5x the size of a card yet it's approximately 3 7/8" x 5 1/2"? This isn't one cut from a larger composite is it? Just curious......I am sure I am not seeing something correctly....Iconic picture for sure.

Default 100 percent cut from composite

I am certain it was cut from a Pittsburgh team composite. It looks exactly like my examples cut from composites and the back looks like the cardboard backing my photos are on.

According to the auction listing, the photo is, "...over five times the size of its diminutive, mass-produced and artistically modified card cousin..."

I have heard the T206 Wagner called many things...but...mass produced? That's a new one to me.

T-206 dimensions: 1-7/16" x 2-5/8" = 3.773 sq. in

This photo = 3-7/8" x 5-1/2" = 21.3125 sq. in

21.3125 / 3.773 = 5.6487

So, yeah, it's really more than 5x the size of the card.

I spent a fair amount of time with this photo over the years, photographing the Dreier Museum and collection about a dozen times. The photo is spectacular, and several times the size of the T206 Wagner it sat next to.
With Doug Dreiers consent, here are a couple of those pictures from last fall.

No doubt a great photo but if it's cut from a larger composite it seems like the bidders might want to know, no?

I should add that with those pics shown it is larger than I envisioned. Great photo.

Looks awfully big to have come from a composite. It's roughly the image size you'd find on a cabinet card. If I see a composite with the image that big I might change my tune, but the Legendary description seems fine to me.

Was the T-206 Wagner in the picture crossed over to a PSA Holder?

I believe/assume Fogel's is the entire thing, with the full mount, like the other Horner cabinets you see.

Probably cut from the same one these are from. Wagner is one of the one's I'm missing.
