Default SLABBED Max Schmeling & Joe Jacobs signed photo!

Wow! Was in the antique booths today and flea markets of Vermont and found a stunner! (if its real of course!). Original snapshot photo from 1932 with Max Schmeling and manager Joe Jacobs!!! The crazy thing is I noticed the Max auto and was thrilled to have found this. I at first thought that Max had signed it to Joe......then realized it was signed by 2 different people and oh my! I could not get this to the counter fast enough. Embarrassed to admit what it was marked at so we will just keep that private. It was VERY CHEAP!!!!
The page it came from said 1932.
You have to wonder how these things sit in a booth for so long albeit this was in a box with a bunch of photos and papers and I've been there before and it looked like a box that had just been put in this booth in the back of the antique mall.
Opinions would be great if you have any either way. Has anyone ever even seen a photo signed by just these 2 legends?
Worst case, if autos are deemed bad, I have a unique photo of these 2 with some young fans!
Peace, Mike

The Schmeling looks consistent with an early (1930s) signature. He got a lot more stylized later on. Don't know Jacobs' signature.

Thanks! Due to him dying so young in 1939, I was only able to find this example:

Jacobs,Joe 5-8-38.jpg

Thanks again Adam for your opinion on Max!

Young, heck, he looks like he's about 75.

I agree Adam but according to BoxRec:

Joe "Yussel" Jacobs (Born: May 4, 1896; Died: April 24, 1940)

44 years old!!!!!! He must have lived a hard life!!!! Wow!!!!

Peace, Mike

PS The Jewish Virtual Library sheds a little light on the hard living Mr. Jacobs and it is fascinating:
"He was the quintessential boxing manager of the 1920s and 1930s, a cigar-chomping, fedora-wearing, streetwise, brash, combative, argumentative, and fast-talking schmoozer who "knew nothing about boxing, but he knew how to negotiate and get his man the best deal possible," in the words of his most famous fighter, Max Schmeling. Jacobs became Schmeling's manager in 1928, when the German began fighting in the United States. In Schmeling's fight for the vacant heavyweight championship on June 12, 1930, at Yankee Stadium, he was knocked down in the fourth round by a low blow from Jack Sharkey. Jacobs jumped into the ring and continued to scream "foul" until the bewildered referee disqualified Sharkey. It was the only time the heavyweight championship was decided on a foul."
Joe Jacobs died of a heart attack. Although others blamed the cigars and alcohol, Schmeling considered Jacobs a victim of his own character. "How often had he made us laugh with his constant state of excitement -- gesticulating, voice cracking, never finishing a sentence, working on his cigar, gasping for breath. That's what Joe Jacobs died of."

Default Wow!!!!!!!

Sent this to PSA/DNA. They got it on 8/29/17 and it already popped today!

100% authentic and slabbed Joe Jacobs and Max Scheming photo signed by both!!!!!!!!

Quickest turnaround EVER and I'm pretty sure this may be the only one I have ever seen signed by both legends!

Very cool!

Peace, Mike
