Guess people should go to the card store with a metal detector and scan packs for premium inserts.

I am sure that is already being done. It never ceases to amaze the lengths people will go to in order to find inserts.

I'd rather have that coin than a piece of Babe's pants.

where Ted Williams' head is going to show up - own one of the "greatest minds in baseball" cards.

I hope his son isn't reading this board.

The next step will have to be game used gum (afer the Luis Gonzalez incident). There is big money in game used gum, and what goes better with baseball cards! The best part is that they can buy a wad for a few thousand dollars and chop it up into small pieces and makes hundreds of cards. No need for PSA/DNA, the players DNA is already in the gum!

They could then branch out into the game used tobacco products to insert into their vintage sets, but you would have to be 18 to buy those.

It really isn't that far of a cry from what is already happening.

game used spit. There's lots of that to go around. Roberto Alomar's umpire shot could be used as a premium insert.
