As always, looking to buy groups of low grade cards from any sets prior to 1945. Only grade requirement is no heavy crease thru the face and name on the card legible. Paper loss and chunks of the card missing are ok as long as the face is untouched.

also just listed a Sports King Jim Thorpe

    Jay

I saw weird stuff in that place last night. Weird, strange, sick, twisted, eerie, godless, evil stuff. And I want in.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5143970823&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT

The following cards, and some others are for sale through my website:

When navigating my website, if you click on a scan of a card, you must click the back arrow to return to the website. If you close the scan, it will also close the website, which is kind of a pain in the neck.

I have an extra set of United Kingdom 1925 Turf Cigarette Sports Records cards, of which card #50 is the most interesting to us. It features George Sisler and his batting performance from the year before. The cards were issued in two series, this is the second numbered 26-50 with cricket, football, and boxing among the other cards. It's in the Standard Catalog if you want to have a look at the picture - mine is in a strong EX condition. I have a pretty easy list to hit (lots of T206 and E120 needs, among others), so let me know if you want to trade.

    1) T206 Baltimore minor leaguers in VG or less with any combination of backs.

    2) T206s in VG or less.

My T206 set is still in the early stages of collection, so deals in lots would be highly appreciated. I'm buying only - no trade bait yet!

Many new cards available on my website (http://www.geocities.com/rhettmatthew_37/prewar.html). Have added a lot of items to the Gum Cards section and the Postwar sections-including some rarer types (Football, Hockey, and Memorabilia are still works in progress) and added some new cards to each of the other sections. On most transactions I will cover shipping, and some prices are negotiable. I am always looking to trade and I have many wants (All Colgans, Most pre-war Pinbacks, Most 19th century stuff, Rare types, and Cameo Pepsin Pins), so if you see something you want and don't want to spend money, just let me know what you have to trade.
-1976 Douglas JAMES "COOL PAPA" BELL SET of 13 cards (every single card is autographed by the Cool Papa). Beautiful set, and each has a great pre-stroke signature of Mr. Bell. On the back of two of the cards Mr. Bell has corrected some mis-quotes, and one of the cards is autographed twice. Guaranteed authentic for life. $360. ( Picture )

I will be posting (or actually Brian will) some more cards on my website this weekend or very soon. I will most likely put up for sale my entire Western Playground set. It won't be real cheap but it's the only complete set known. It was featured as the main article in the first Old Cardboard magazine too. I will also list the T213-3 overprint Bender I have, which is in a PSA 4 holder. More Obaks too, mostly, if not all, 1911's...... Probably some more goodies I will dig up too. regards all

Thanks to all of those who have purchased cards from me in the past couple of weeks. I am still working on selling off the majority of my collection on my Website. Many nice cards remain up for grabs including Hall of Famers for several caramel sets including Cracker Jacks, tobacco sets and m116s. Also still available are several rare type cards such as a Ju Ju Drum, several minor league issues, t222s, and several e107s.

My site is located at www.geocities.com/redmaccie. I do apologize in advance if the site should crash while you're looking at it. Please be patient if this happens...it's usually back up and running again in a few minutes. Let me know if you'd like additional scans or better descriptions of the cards. Thanks in advance and I hope to hear from you all soon!

in FR/GD (or Larry Fritsch VG/EX) - getting ready to send it off to GAI or SGC for slabbing, but if you want it before that, e-mail me. I can send scans (not that bad looking of a card for the technical grade).

I have read enough about how this all works and have gradually become much less inspired with what I read and see on a routine basis. I had always dreamed of collecting as many vintage items as I could, however, after being burned on a few trimmed/graded cards and a few other not-worth-mentioning dealings with a few folks... I have decided to place my stuff up for sale, please view at www.4elitecars.com and let me know if you are interested. Bulk sale price on all items except the Cobb CJ (not mine), Cobb T3 (sold), Shoeless Joe National Game (sold), T200 Cleveland that is SGC graded (sold) and the A&G items (sold).

I have tons more stuff that is not posted on my site, I will be placing all up within the next few weeks.

I have been trying to locate an AMERICAN LEAGUE Fan Craze Reprint set -- Fritsch used to have them and I know that they exist. If anyone has a lead, I'd be gratefel...

Oh and I promise that I won't sell them on Ebay in the Vintage Category as real or claim that I got them from my grandfather or something.
