Default well

it looks like you hung your giant Piedmont in the same place I had mine. Difference is my wife was looking to move it OUT - not in. You should keep yours (sign AND future missus) :-)

edited to ask: Any way you could share what was paid? I sort of track this kind of stuff. If not I understand......

I wanna say she paid around $350. I know she got the price down about $75-$100 from his original asking price. Yeah, she's a keeper. She tolerates all this "junk" of mine and lets me have the basement all to my collection. She even pretends to be interested in it sometimes, lol.

Thanks for the kudos everyone. Another one just in!

It's a monster. Measures nearly 30" wide x 40" tall. Made of thick cardboard.

I believe it's circa (early 1930's)

What a great piece Tony! Where did you come by it? I have never seen it before either.

Hi Bob. Good to hear from you and thank you. It was an Ebay find. I'd not seen this one before now either. It sorta reminds me of the famous Dean brothers Beech-Nut display and is about the same size as that one.

Dean Bros sign below not mine, simply shown for reference

Bought at the National for $20 from John Rumierz, this ad card for 1950 WWG "Big League Stars" set of International Leaguers.

Given its postcard size, I think it's the front window display insert for vending machines that held the V362 Big League Stars set and sold individual cards for 1c each, much like Exhibit Company machines. It's labeled as a joint production of Cramer Gum (East Boston USA) and World Wide Gum (Granby, Ontario CA), implying Big League Stars set distribution on both sides of the border.
