Default RIP Ryne Duren

Ryne Duren, member of the 1958 Champion Yankees and briefly on the 1961 team passed away last Thursday at the age of 81. Here's a link to a nice story about him.

Default R.I.P. Ryan Duren

R.I.P., Ryan Duren. I remember as a kid watching the Yankee Old-Timers games when Mr. Duren pitched and he always threw his first pitch high and to the backstop. R.I.P., Mr. Duren.

i remember watching him play when i was a little leaguer in the early 60s.
i proudly had his yankees card for years.
a great loss for us fans
