Default Swollen Balls...

Not pre-war but obscure... 1950-53 Ellensburg Cowboys Semi-Pro Autographed Baseballs. They are obviously swollen from weather/neglect and do not fit in there cubes.

Ridiculously rare baseballs, the most significant signature is of former CWU basketball coach Dean Nicholson (on 2) whose father Leo and he combined for the most wins in NCAA history by father/son duo (more than 1,100). Also Franklin High School standout Billy Lee autographed state championship 1950 baseball. This collection is from former Cowboys batboy Freddie Watterson... Thank you for any input.

Consider buying the Steiner glass and wood ball case with the mirrored base. A beautiful way to display your rare balls. These sell for about $24.99 on the bay. Even if you suffer from a case of swollen balls (God forbid), these should be just what the Dr. ordered, so to speak...

Thank goodness this is not about what I first thought when I saw the title, "swollen balls."

Default certainly

Certainly one of the more colorful titles of a thread I have seen on the board.

Was going to title it... "swollen balls... please help" but thought that might be a bit much. Must admit these are the first "vintage" baseballs I have purchased, and I had NO idea how mashed these baseballs got. One, not pictured, looks like it was in an apple press.

Yes, not pre-war, but neat for the local history angle. There is a Dean Nicholson Blvd. here in Ellensburg and the gym at Central Washington University is named after his father Leo Nicholson. Dean was a decent first baseman, and a GREAT basketball coach, who was controversially dismissed in the late 80's.
