Default Bottom's Up... to Teddy Ballgame

Posted By: Adam J. Moraine

Dear Forum Members,

I recently purchased a FULL bottle of Ted's (Ted Williams) delicious creamy root beer. distributed by the Moxie Co. of Boston, Mass. It's is a FULL 7 oz. bottle, with beautiful detail, and color. No chips, faded coloring, the bottle cap is secure, and the root beer itself is a rich, amber color. Has anyone else seen these? Can anyone provide info about this item or a dollar value.

Best Regards,

Adam J. Moraine

I think they were reissued after the fact, in the 1980's. You may have one of these. I still have a botle sitting on my bookshelf for 15 years, and I know it is not from his playing career. Actually, I have no idea when they were made.

Default Bottom's Up... to Teddy Ballgame

I purchased a 3-pack of condoms with a picture of Teddy
Ballgame on the front, in his famous follow-through. Cost me $103. I have since seen one that he signed (or..someone did). Seller said mine was from the '40s or '50s. I have no reason to believe otherwise. The pack fits neatly in a Vario Stockpage pocket.

What the heck, pop the cap and taste test the root beer, and you'll have your answer. On the other hand,I wouldn't suggest"road testing"the condoms !
