Do any of you guys know if Mastronet will bring auction material to the show?
If so, would be very interested to know from any of you visiting the show, how the Hancock's card and the Hoboken benefit card look like (Don't have a clue if they will show those 2 items at Ft. Washington)
Many thanks

George

I have handled the Hoboken card in person, and it is absolutely fantastic. If you have any questions about it, please feel free to contact me directly.

Just like a trader to NOT "buy and hold."

If I was at a card show and they let me hold the PSA 8 T206 Wagner card in my hands for a second...

can I legitimately claim that I once "owned" it??

Fort Washington...a fellow-California member and I are planning to meet at the Asian Art Museum on Saturday, and wow everyone in the Hospitality Room with our cards...

Andy & Jay
Thanks for your support -
Impossible for me to send e-mail from office right now but maybe you can help me here on the board, would be nice to read other board experts discuss fine items like these two
Is it possible for both Andy and Jay to post closer scans of the items? I dont see the usual mastronet pic magnifier on their website.

Thank you again

George

George,

I never owned the card, so I don't have any larger scans. If you contact Mastro directly, they may be able to help you. The card is in their possession. I know the consignor of the card, and since I live close to Mastro, I was lucky enough to deliver it to them in person.

I'm not sure what type of additional information you are looking for. The Mastro write-up is pretty detailed. If you like, you can post some questions, and I'll be happy to do my best to answer them.

George--I don't have a scan, but I'm sure if you call Mastro they would send you an enlarged image. They have provided those to me on several occasions. The cards are absolutely beautiful, bigger than a tobacco card but smaller than a K-Bat or large Gypsy Queen. The front area around the image is a deep brown with gold leaf around the edges. The back is cream colored with very sharp lettering. I am the one who originally got them graded and I was shocked that they didn't grade not just a little, but alot, higher. They are one of the most unusual, and by far the rarest, issue I have ever had the pleasure of seeing.

Gents(and Julie),
I am set up at the fort washington show(american memorabilia) in PA. Pretty good show thus far.
I would not call it a strong show as far as Pre-War stuff goes, a few gems as usuall. I have bought a couple of nice things from Terry Knouse. The show is great attendance wise,
much better than the last one.

If anyone is looking for anything, call the AM office and they will get me your want list.

Thanks,

Nick
