Careful ladies and gents, this card has been skinned. I believe the back should be smooth. Dan

no catch really, I bought this exact card from Pete Calderon a few years ago and we had a small disagreement about me sending it back. Pete finally accepted it back and we are fine as frog hair now. So I kinda cheated on this one since I had it in my hand at one time. Dan.

Dan- Is your thinking that this was at one time pasted in an album and then when removed the back came with it?

The only E97 BW I have is slabbed - so I've never seen one raw. I thought it was on thin cardboard/paper. What is skinning on that stock - is it still possible for even thin sheet to have layers that can separate?

How do ya skin an E97 proof? The one I had you could practically see through. But I guess it is possible....

One of the card's previous owners (not Dan) emailed me that the card was once pasted in a scrapbook and when it was removed, the back came with it so this one must be almost translucent by now, since I agree with Joann, they are thin anyway.
