Default Vintage shops in Nashville?

This NYC boy is going down to Nashville for the NCAA tourney next week.
Any vintage/antiques or just plain old good junks shops in Nashville that I should check out.
Of course vintage baseball is priority but I'll take what I can get.
Thanks,
Chris.

As far as junk shops, American Pickers opened a new shop in Nashville.

No idea where it's at but I watch the show so it might be cool to check that place out.

Didn't American Pickers just open up a new store in Nashville? (Antique Archeology). Probably very overpriced, but might be cool to see.

Default Shop

There is one shop, called Cards R Fun with a some vintage (small sampling) and various other goodies. Located in Nashville about 15 minutes from Downtown.
Good Luck, J

At the risk of high jacking the thread, I was in Nashville a couple of weeks ago with my daughter. We dropped by Antique Arch since we are fans of the show.

Got there a few minutes before it opened and waited outside. When they unlocked the doors to let everyone in, we were surprised that Mike was actually the guy who unlocked the door, said "ya'll come on in" , stood there holding the door open while everyone filed in, then drug some antique out onto the sidewalk just as if he were opening up the woolworth in the old days.

Although I wasn't expecting him , I'm not surprised he was actually there, just surprised he opened the door and all!

We didn't stay long....not very big, fairly crowded, and not much small (read: affordable) stuff.

I'm pretty sure we'll go back next time in Nashville though just to see how they evolve.

To get this back on track...

Chris - I think you are asking about antique shops, not card shops per se' true?

If so, while I was there with my daughter we hit up several antique/thrift stores along 8th Ave South. There are about 10 or 12 within 3 or 4 miles between Downtown Antique mall and Temptations Antique Gallery. Google one of those, then search for nearby antiques.

Didn't see any cards though...

Tony

Cards-R-Fun on Old Hickory is the only card shop in town. Pretty decent supply of vintage stuff...friendly owner but the store is very unorganized. There's a decent antique place called the Gas Lamp. Basically a private dealer rents a booth and sets their items out with prices and there's a common cash register at the front. It's by the 100 oaks shopping center off I-65 just south of downtown. The Gas Lamp is located upstairs of an office supply store (staples I believe) next to Lowe's

Tony et al,
For fear of being disappointed in general, I've stopped looking for (or even expecting for that matter) any brick and mortar card shops anywhere anymore. I was hoping to get some good leads, which I have (thanks everyone), on some vintage shops in the area with the hope of possibly finding some sprinklings of baseball cards/memorabilia here and there. I have found that my collection benefits from patience, low expectations, high standards and the unexpected consequences of the hunt.
Again, thanks all for your suggestions.
~Chris.
