Old Judge Cabinet question

What would be the average price one would expect to pay for a non-HOF'er, common Old Judge cabinet in a grade from A-3 (20)? Graded or ungraded. Also, would you be able to find one outside of a major auction these days? Any help would be greatly appreciated & thanks!

Depending on who needs it, as there are a few folks accumulating as many as possible and a bidding war could ensue, I will guess a common in a 2-3 grade would be about 1000-1700, depending on pose etc.... A few smaller auctions will have one every now and then. I know B & L has sold 1-2 in the past. I have seen a few, here and there, on ebay too. Otherwise, as Matt suggested, going to online searches will prove fruitful in your quest for pricing. Remember too, most people collecting these won't give a rat's patoot about the technical grade but will be judging them on the basis of photo quality. Hope this helps a little. regards
