Default Cuban Baseball (Card? Postcard?) Original Art

So I just received the two pieces I won in Ebay auctions...

Here's the descriptions on one of 'em:

THIS AUCTION IS FOR AN INCREDIBLY SCARCE, ORIGINAL ITEM THAT I AM NOT 100% SURE EXACTLY WHAT IT IS. IT A 1950-51 WILLIAM (BILLY) HERMAN MANAGER OF THE CLUB CIENFUEGAS CUBAN BASEBALL TEAM ARTWORK AND/OR SOME SORT PREMIUM. MEASURES APPROX. 7 1/2 X 11.

They're original artwork, alright... but not sure about anything else... Does anyone have a clue?

Both backs have the same stamp on them:

I just noticed that this is probably post-war... (I almost always post in pre-war... sorry about that). Should I repost in post-war or does a mod move this... or should I just admit defeat and move along?)

Thanks... (and sorry again for the error).

I have no knowledge to add on these at all, just wanted to say I love em.

Great pick up!

Default Cuban

I can't help you with ID'ing these items, but they are unique and they look to be original. Those are some great pick ups.

As far as posting in the main forum, I would think Leon would be OK with that. They are from the early 50's, card related, and interesting.

Rick

Cheers!

Yeah, those are pretty neat and it seems like they went for a pretty reasonable price. Congrats!
