Default To soak or not to soak...

I'm considering soaking these guys. What do you guys think?? I think the Matty is a good candidate but I'm unsure if it will help the Delong.

Thanks Dave! I'm a little nervous about the Matty as I've never soaked that high a dollar card before.

I think it would soak well but I would factor in value of the card. Remember glues are not all soluable.

Ken, are you talking about the Lefty Grove?? I didn't pay much for it and besides the residue I think it looks really good.

Was talking about the Matty but comment applies to both cards

Default Shaky Finger Soaking

I think I would attempt the Matty soak, with fingers trembling, while I wouldn't bother with the Grove, because I don't see it removing the darkened areas. I suggest of course first removing the card from its plastic case.

I don't know that soaking will help Lefty a whole lot so I might leave that one alone, especially because it is already slabbed, but I agree that it is bath time for Matty.

I agree with the above. Matty is a prime example of a soak-worthy card.
I think it will turn out great.
