Default 1911 D311 Pacific Coast Biscuits

The D311 Pacific Coast Biscuit series is a uniquely colorful baseball set. The colors are unlike almost any others. It was a good day when these 2 made it back to my collection, from our BST (thanks Brian). Arrelanes is from the Trucker Boy find and the Melchoir is a gleeful pose. Anyone else want to show any?

I was just thinking about Pacific Coast Biscuit cards today! Although I don't have any D311's, I recently purchased a D310!

Spectacular cards so far everyone!

If I recall correctly, the back of a Melchoir's card says he runs like a sissy. I'm not sure which card tho.

I've been searching through my scans for this one. It is a d311 front with a modified 1911 Obak back. Very funny!!

I have a bunch more than this, I should have about 8 D311s and roughly 17 D310s. Just type cards, though. Really, I'm not collecting them or anything.

My favorite minor league set! Love the colors...and the poses are mostly unique to this set and the neighboring d310 set as well.

Here's a card that probably ranks in the top 5 favoritest in my collection. It's an extremely rare error-variation seen very infrequently in both d311 and Obaks known as a "bluegrass" variation where, basically, the green color pass didn't happen and the grass, as well as the card as a whole, takes on a blueish - tinge.
