Default To bid or not to bid, that is the question.

I personally have never seen this card offered ever until I found it on the bay. It is a 1916 Zeenut Jimmy Claxton. Its one tough card but it is offered by someone with a low feedback score and someone who has odd offerings that don't match up to this card. Tell me what you think. Thanks

I looked for one for a while but kind of gave up once the price reached crazy. It is interesting...but I would have to reconcile the price with the card before I even started worrying about the seller, and I wouldn't see that happening.

That's quite an eclectic group of items the seller has. He/she is selling a bunch of $5-10 books, some 1985 Topps commons, some Drew Brees cards and a $5000 Zeenut card.

I would recommend asking the seller some questions first. Starting with "Do you offer a money back guarantee if the card is deemed unauthentic by a tpg?"

Also, the $5000 or best offer makes me think he/she has no idea what a card like that should sell for. So if you do decide to buy it, I would offer significantly less than $5000, like $600-1000 for starters.

Good luck! Let us know how it turns out.

Default Bid

Very tough card, historically significant, seller guarantes authenticity... pay for it through Paypal, send it for TPG ASAP.... my 2 cents...
