Default Nice '41 PB

Michael,

Very nice '41 Play Ball. It looks like it should have been graded higher than PSA 6. Are there any issues that are not apparent in your photo? I have a PSA 7 of the same card and yours appears nicer.

Many thanks to B&L for the quick shipping, it makes me feel bad for taking a week to send payment.

Hi Tim,

The blank back has a thin slight scratch that probably reduced the overall grade to a 6 which is the reason I jumped at this one as I would put the front up against any 7 or 7.5. Thanks for the compliment.

Appears to be much better than the grade. Detroit is a fairly tough one to pick up. Now I just need the Boston NL to complete the set.

In observance of my thousandth post on the new board presented are a few more odds and ends that are fresh off the boat in Hawaii.

I'm almost POSITIVE this card features Shoeless Joe . . .

Weird Leard

Doggone it! I wondered who edged me out on that Leard! Oh well, if I had to lose it, glad it was to you David.
Thanks Steve M. for the nice Baltimore players to add to my C46 set:

I picked up the large version to go with the small version I already had. It seems to me I see more of the large version than the small which is not what one expects with the 1911 variations...

Todays mail brought this little beauty. A bit of paper loss in the front upper right corner, some transfer on the lower back.
