Default A few more pics...

Mostly all part of my Nolan Ryan collection with the exception of photo of the display of autographed balls. About 60-70% of the balls are HOF'ers and guys that threw 2 or more no-hitters in a career. The rest are ball related to Ryan's career (key milestones, etc.) Enjoy!

Scott, Awesome displays! I love the way you have the tickets displayed as well as the baseballs being inset in to the wall. Well done!

Rick,
Nolan doesn't come to the midwest much as he is a pretty busy guy these days. The closest he's come to seeing my collection are the 83 items that I loaned and donated to the The Nolan Ryan Center in Alvin, TX (Ryan museum). I wanted to post pictures of two unbelieveably cool things that I received back from him, but my wife has snagged the camera for my daughter's dance competition in Chicago over the weekend. Thanks!

Thanks Mike!

Default Memorabilia room pictures

"Jeez Scott. Now I know you've told me you have one of the largest and most comprehensive Nolan Ryan collection extant. But never, in my wildest dreams, did I think that that was a gross understatement! Absolutely mind boggling. You're a sick puppy my friend, which is why I'm sure that that had a lot to do with us becoming friends..." Jimmy

Thanks Jimmy! Yes, I am an admitted sick puppy, but it's sure been alot of fun along the way!

BTW, I must admit that this thread is one of my favorite topics. Looking at glimpses of everyone's awesome collections is really incredible! As collectors we all know how much work it takes to put together a collection like these.
Congrats to all!

This is easily my favorite Net54 thread of all-time. In the spirit of revivals going on the homepage right now I am hoping several-many of you have new photos to post of your memorabilia rooms.

I am photo inept but I will ask my wife for assistance and post some of my mess in a day or so. My room is a total disaster but now that retirement has arrived or is just about to it is my number one goal. I've been married to my saintly wife for 41 years, if I want to make 42 I need to do some straightening up!

I will not be showing her any of your nice photos right now!

Just got to shoot a news piece on one of my collection focuses, though my room's in a bit of disarray.

Thanks! I sure hope so. I have an acquaintance whose mother was the team's booster club president...she funded a new uniform set one year. There's supposed to be a near full SET of jerseys in storage somewhere, but she hasn't found them yet.

She's said they're mine when she does...so there's hope!

Some guys have a basement; others have a man cave, or perhaps just a walk-in closet.

I have a "man shelf" in which to display my modest First Dynasty Philadelphia Athletics collection:
