About 15 years ago I purchased an Edd Roush auto 3x5 and was looking for a photo to frame it with. My little brother was in High School at the time and was a pretty good artist. He said if I give him some pictures he would draw me one in his art class. I didn't know he would draw it poster size.

Vander Meer & Cincinnati Reds original art 1940
Pumping some life into one of my favorite Jimmy "The King of Clout" threads! Wow, it's been almost two years since the last post.
What else do you guys have to keep this thread going? I recently picked up this original piece of artwork that details the Cincinnati Reds and Johnny Vander Meer's run towards the 1940 Word Series. I believe the artist Russell was from the Cincinnati area and these ran in the Cincinnati Post and Cincinnati's News of the Reds team publication. In December, I bought two Willard Mullin originals as Christmas presents for myself, and one for my boss. Thanks to SCP
