Default Some help PLEASE!!

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this card? The picture seems to be somehow affixed to the backing and the backing seems quite rigid and is approximately a 1/16th to 1/8th thick. It presents itself well, I just want to know if anyone may have some info.

Thanks.

It's not a baseball card but an early 1900s photograph of a baseball player. In the old days the photographer would often paste the paper photograph to an ornate and/or colorful cardboard backing in order to protect the image and make it displayable.

My guess is that the player pictured is no one famous or notable. Even if depicting a 'nobody', the photo has financial value.

Yes, I was thinking that it could be a young Big Train...and W for Washington. And have been struggling with what type of monitary value to place on this item. Overall presence is outstanding and I do not plan on parting with it, it is just one of those things that are good to know more about. I have never seen one similar to this and most certainly have never seen this picture before.
