Default M101-6 Felix Mendelsohn - Marsans - Rare?

Posted By: Mark

It took me years to track this card down. I picked it up
from Kevin Savage's find earlier this year.

How tough are these cards? I know that eBay will list a couple a year (Usually, via Lipset). And relative to price, the guides keep missing on this one.

I have never seen or heard of another Marsans.
Any more out there to post?????

Thanks - Mark

I'm bummed to hear you refer to a find this year--I missed it and I check at least 5 times a week. And Lew Lipset hasn't had any for a couple of years. Nice Marsans.

These are really tough, and Marsans would be a high-demand card in the set.

Todd, the find was in Kevin Savage's mail/phone auctions a few months ago. But trust me, you didn't miss any great bargains. I bid a decent amount on a few of them and other bidders blew right past me. Kevin and Pat said that they were amazed at the hammer prices.

Tim
