has anyone in 44 years realized that there is no such thing as mantle left handed and right handed
he is batting left handed in both versions
one is a side view and one is a front view
why has it been listed for 44 years as left and right

The front view is a follow through of batting righthanded. Look at the position of his hands on the bat.

his right hand is on the bottom of the bat
therefore he is batting lefthanded

From what I can tell it looks to me like his right hand is on top. Also, his position seems like a follow through at the end of a swing.
