Default Is this the toughest Jeter card?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/1997-Upper-...b-ce767ebeb4b8

Foil with pointy corners. No PSA 10’s. I can’t think of any tougher
non-serialed issues to get in high grade. Anybody?

I have 20 or 30 of these and I can’t find another that will gem out.

Yes, this was my card at one point in time.

Here are 5 you can buy for $10.

I just figure it's a card nobody cares about and therefore doesn't even consider grading.

I'm sorry, I was not clear...Toughest in high grade.

Yes I did own that 9.5 at 1 time. Jeter is the majority of my PC

This, my friends, is Jeter's toughest card. PSA doesn't grade these. BGS does. There are 2 BGS Jeters in existence, and I own one. I also own the rest of the set, in which every card is a pop 1. These things are super rare.

Nice cards! There are still no gem mints of this one across the three major grading companies and only two Mint 9's.

Man, a Vlad Guerrero popped up at auction about a year ago. I thought I was aggressive. I was wrong. Someday!

I couldn't find the signature rookies 8x10s on the PSA pop report, I can't imagine there's any 10s out there.

I agree that the sportscubz Jeter is one of the toughest of all his cards. My understanding is that there are 5 or 6 that made it out of Topps. I was very surprised 4 or 5 years ago when some popped up here. I purchased a Jeter a Pettite and a Bonds. One day these will be the 61 Dice game of the Collectors who started in the late 1980's. JMHO...

There is a Paul O'Neill on eBay for $200. Is that an appropriate price for
a semi-star? What are the Jeters worth?

I do not know what one would sell for now but the son of the Topps guy who took them out of topps sold the Jeters for between $500 and $700. But as I said this is 4 ir 5 years ago. Look at what Jeter SP rookies were selling for 4 or 5 years ago. ..

I bought him out and have a complete BGS set along with a few extras including an extra Jeter. He told me on the phone that his father told him he would be shocked if there were more than 5 of each.

I done plan on letting them go for a long time.
