Our Base Ball Club, by Noah Brooks, 1884. Popular and scarce children's book that was the very first to be devoted entirely to the game of baseball. It is widely collected for its beautiful chromolithographic cover; front pictures a game in progress, back cover features a well known image of the 1882 White Stockings with Anson and Kelly. Usually found tattered, this better than average copy has typical chipping but tight spine and bright colors, about Very Good condition...........SOLD
