I'm probably the only person on Net54 that knows about this site unless you have kids. This is a pretty funny piece about trading cards of all types, including baseball cards

Butt pats? 23 of them? Jay, you think he was on steroids?

Wow, that's totally f---ked up! I wonder how much a graded Cheat ball PSA10 would be worth?

I can appreciate it though. I love 12 oz. Mouse on Adult Swim.

You have a lot of creative and warped people out there. Makes you wonder if kids are still watching Tom and Jerry, Woody Woodpecker and Heckle and Jeckle like I did when I was a kid. Thanks for sharing Jay.

I love Adult Swim. Rumor has it that Cartoon Network is supposed to be spinning off Adult Swim into its own network. That would be very cool. My favorite shows, some of which don't air anymore, are Sealab 2021, The Brak Show, Cartoon Planet, Crayon Shin Chan, Foolie Coolie, Cowboy Beebop, Big O, Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Moral Orel. I really wish they would get rid of Tom Goes to the Mayor. Unlike ATHF, which seemed really bizzar and stupid at first, at least it started making sense once you got to know the characters. TGttM is just plain stupid with a horrific animation style. The Family Guy reruns can't be beat. Easily the funniest show on TV.

There are some great webtoons out there. Homestar runner is good, that is where the link came from. Foamy the Squirrel is the best thing going on the net. Then there are the old standbys, Jib Jab and Joe Cartoon. If anyone wants links to these or other funny sights like Ask A Ninja, let me know and I'll post them.

I love Adult Swim, especially on Sunday's way into the night. I really don't know many of the shows you listed. I am after all, or the most part, an adult.

I hate Tom the Mayor as well and I think Morel Orel is stupid. It tries too hard to be a gross version of Davey and Goliath.

With Sealab and Aqua Teen Huger Force, I liked it the first few times I saw it, but then got tired of it. Kind of with Brak as well, but I love the father who is always sitting and so tiny and the stuff that comes out of his mouth amuses the hell out of me!

I can't deal with any kind of Anime whatsoever. I guess I need my animation juvenile!

Even "Boondocks" doesn't do it for me. Family Guy is simply flawless. American Dad kind of blows IMO.

I like Boondocks because Aaron McGruder has fewer restraints than with his newspaper cartoon. Too bad he is on hiatus right now and only doing his animated show.

I love anime. Great storylines with great animation. Check out Cowboy Beebop or Boogie Pop Phantom. Fantastic storylines, great art and great music and atmosphere. If you like robots, then Big O and Evangelion are the best ones to watch. If a movie is more to your taste or don't want to sit through a whole tv series, check out Vampire Hunter D and its sequel.

You are correct. Strongbad is too funny. The link is to Strongbad's latest email. Homestar runner needs to put some pants on though.

My friend is really into anime and I simply can't get into it. Maybe it's those creepy eyes. Passable anime is "Howl's Moving Castle" (I very much enjoyed the original story) and "Spirited Away"-which I like. My friend swears on "Princess Mononoke" or even "Akira" but I couldn't get into them.

I saw the movie "Cowboy Bebop" and I gave up after a about forty minutes. Too each his own, can't say I haven't given it the college try.

As much as I love animation (respect for the form of anime) and the movies, I can't seem to blend the two forms.

Heck, I still love "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?". Does that count for something?
