This is on mine - this was sold in a 1997 Oregon Trail auction - would love to know its whereabouts today.

Mine is also from an Oregon Trail auction but don't remember year or have a photo. It was a large clock with large letters spelling Kansas City A's

Hmmm...when I get some time I'll go through my OT catalogs. If I see it in there I'll post it.

1920 Indians press pin (either or both versions).

And the two 1950s Indians pinbacks Al S. has that I need but won't sell.

A Second ALCS win ?

You're right, I have a better chance at a 1912 WS press pin, scorecard, and little red pin that Aaron also has on his wantlist.

There are more, but these are reasonable wants and are possibly attainable

Hey Greg,

Even though this refers to the Braves (in '48) and not the Red Sox, I'm debating about wearing it to Jacobs Field for Game 4 on Tuesday night.

Man am I hoping this series doesn't go back to Boston.

Good luck,

Rob

I find a way to mention this on at least one board each month (tonight I got a "twofer.)

I'm looking for 4 cards from the 1932 NY Giants Schedule Postcards set. I need Allen, Bell, Healey and Leslie.

Here's what the set looks like.

Rob,
Go ahead and wear it, I don't blame you

It's looking pretty bleak now, not that Daisuke didn't live up to all that I expected (pretty much guessed he would go five or so and give up 4 or 5). At least it wasn't past 1 in the morning until it was over.

I shouldn't complain. I already saw it happen in '04. Anything more for a Sox fan would be just plain greed.

How about those Pats?

I need two 41 Goudeys to finish that set, Crouch and Coffman and I'd like a reasonable example of a Reach or Spalding mushroom bat. I have a number of mushroom, ball knob, acorn knob, and flared knob bats, but not a labeled example from one of these companies.

Ah... the fun is truly in the chase.

John

I would really like this button of Harmon Killebrew:

I would also like the Rod Carew and Tony Oliva buttons from 1969/70 that look like this:

The Catfish Hunter Red Man chewing tobacco poster I lost in a house fire in 1976. Sadly, I haven't seen one since ... hence no scan.

Writehooks-
Your ship just came in. I have that poster and am not emotionally attached to it- I'd be honored to send it to you. Send me your address (my email is on my sign in) and I"ll get it out to you in the next week.

If you're continuing to feel charitable and have a copy of Busting Em in dust jacket, please send that my way.

Joe, I know where you can find that postcard, but you'll have to give up a certain Giants postcard + your first born...and that's just the finders fee.

Looks like Wahoo Sam there on the left. So is that poster on the outfield fence?

Dan, it's actually a parade leading to the ballpark. I believe that's Crawford and Chief Meyers. Jim Thorpe is next to Meyers but he was cropped out.

I'd love to find an autograph of Wayne "Rasty" Wright (relative) who played for the Browns in the teens and 20s.

Bert, if anyone in this forum would know where you could get one of those...(if you can)....it would be Rhys Yeakley (prewarsports). He's our autograph expert here.

edited to add: you can find his email address in the vintage links section.

Items that I am still looking for if anyone has one of these or knows where I can find them please let me know.

This one was in a Classic Collectibles auction about 6 months ago, but for some reason I could not get registered to bid...

This image may not exist in postcard form, but I think it's possible

This is a cabinet that I have seen a few times on ebay, but have always been outsniped on....I know a dealer that has one, but he wants too much for it.

Here's an Oakland, NE cabinet that I wouldn't mind having...someone on Net54 bought it, but I don't know who.

Dan, is that first postcard part of that set we talked about earlier? Have you seen any game action postcards? You would think someone photographed one of those games.

That one is not a part of the set...it is a B&W version of that colorized version that just ended on ebay a few weeks back. I've never seen a game action photo...I suppose the closest is what looks like them in a field practicing or posing for this postcard.
