Default T206 Set Question

Posted By: William Turner

I was just wondering how many Louisville cards appear in the t206 set? Is is just the Delahanty card or are there more? As always any info is greatly appreciated.

William

Default T206 Set Question

Delehanty
Puttnam
Thielman

I think that's it. And I think Ellam who shows with "Nashville" was really with Louisville at the time. That's in the back of my mind, will check that.

Frank.

Default T206 Set Question

Off the top of my head, Delahanty and Puttmann are from Louisville. Can't think of any others.

Oops, forgot Thielman.

Those are the 3, according to T206.org checklist feature, anyway (just to cite my source!)...

Default T206 Set Question

Posted By: Frank Wakefield

Ok... I think I have it straight. Ellam was with Nashville. He later managed the Nashville Vols, 1916 thru 1920, giving way to Hub Perdue in 1921. Roy Ellam won the pennant with Nashville in 1916.

Bill Bernhard, shown with Nashville in T206, managed Nashville 1908, 1909, and 1910. I think he might have been with Louisville earlier, and that is what I was mixed up about...
