That was a great item - congrats! I bid on it as well and came up a bit short. The seller also had a 1915 Yankees book and I was the under bidder on that one.

Considering the difficulty of Federal League items, I think you got it for a decent price!

I thought so considering there are six unused mint tickets. I figured I could always sell five of the tickets and keep one with the original book…..federal league stuff is so hard to get.

Looks like the Yankee tickets from 1915 were from the same guy…….sorry you didn't get that one either.

I have a 1913 Red Sox season ticket book like these and since I got that one, I've always watched for others, and really haven't seen much similar in the past couple of years. So these are neat items which seem to be pretty scarce!

Congrats on picking that up. Was watching the whole time, not bidding. I don't collect Fed. League memorabilia but just cool stuff - and that item certainly is cool.

Congrats on hanging in there and winning.

Congrats on winning this 1914 Brooklyn Fed's season ticket book. I missed this on eBay, but had a chance to look at it after reading your post.

This is really a first rate pickup IMHO. Nice!

What is the best book you've read on the Federal League?

Benny Kauff was their best in '15, and probably the best in the FL.

Good Federal League Books you need -

The Best primer on the Federal League is:
Okkonen, Marc, The Federal League of 1914-1915: Baseball's Third Major League (lots of pictures and probably the first book on the Federals)

Best in-depth book is:
Wiggins, Robert Peyton, The Federal League of Base Ball Clubs (Despite being a McFarland book it's actually well-edited)

For my money, the best Federal League history is Daniel Levitt's _The Battle that Forged Modern Baseball_. Although I'm also looking forward to this one being released:
