Default Griffey signed covers

Hi all,

Still on the search for an elusive Ken Griffey Jr. auto. I've begun to steer away from cards as most signed cards are the acetate kind and I'm worried the autos will fade in 20-30 years. I found a few pen autos that seem nice. The first is a PSA/DNA 1994 All-Star Game cover signed just by Junior. Although authenticated, I wanted to run it by over here as well. Second is an unathenticated 1939 Cooperstown Cover signed by Junior and Senior. On a historic cover, I wouldn't mind having both autos of Baseball's First Family. As this one is unathenticated I wanted to garner opinions here. They look pretty good but I want to be certian. Thanks!

Michael, I agree. It's not the be all, end all for me. Do you agree with their assesment in authenticity though? Lokks a bit different, more narrow than other ones I've seen.

I cannot comment on baseball autographs as I stopped collecting them in the early 1990's. I will defer to those that are familiar with his signature. Olympics would be a different story.

I am by no means any sort of expert on signatures, not my forte, though I still collect them, just a lot more carefully as time has gone on. But the bottom one seems off from the top one on Jr's signature. I have seen a lot of his signatures if I was to give my not so expert opinion, I would say the top one looks a lot better than the bottom one. But I know there will be people giving opinions with a lot more expertise on it by tomorrow.

I hope if they are legit you can get them both, good luck!
