Default Quick note on Chantilly (DC area) show

the vintage stuff was actually pretty good. Paul Pollard's widow and son were there...sad to know Paul had passed...he was always such a hale and hearty guy.

The pickup I was happiest with (though purists may call it a basketball card) was a 1955 Ashland Oil Basketball Morehead Eagles Steve Hamilton. Hamilton went on to pitch for the Yankees with decent success. AO's are tough...took me years to complete my beloved Marshall set.

Autos were slower than usual despite a lot of HOFers and pretty low prices. Probably the general economy. Wasn't a lot of stuff being given away, but Chandy Greenholt had his usual assortment that was well worth digging through.
