Default 1933 Tatoo Orbit Help

My grandfather recently passed away and he had a baseball card collection I've been trying to authenticate. Their appears to be a large number of these 1933 Tatoo Orbit cards in the collection. Please keep in mine that I dont know anything about baseball cards, however I understand that these cards are widely reproduced. So, how do you tell the real ones from the fakes? Any information would be helpful. Thanks

I haven't seen them, but from the other cards your grandfather passed on to you, these are almost certainly fake.

it seems like he was a professional collector of bad reprints.

Widely reproduced is probably a stretch, but they have been reprinted. Very thin stock is a dead giveaway. Extra glossy front or a preforated edge are other automatic disqualifiers. Post up a few and I bet you'll have some good folks who will know exactly what you have.

I've collected this set and studied it for years. Those are all reprints. The font on the player names in larger than original versions.

The only font that looks remotely close is Koenig. The rest are 100% reprints from the 1970s.....probably Dover.
