The co-star in the new movie Shoot 'Em Up is the son of Bart Giamatti. This may not be news to others, but I don't go to many movies and didn't realize Bartlet's son was an actor.

Paul Giamatti, for whom I never made the connection to Commissioner Bart...is a GREAT actor, not just some starving wannabe.
He is critically acclaimed if not particularly famous. His performances steal practically every scene in every movie he's been in. Watch "Big Fat Liar" with your young ones, watch "Duets" or "Sideways" with your older pals and you'll see what I mean.

Paul stars with Huey Lewis and Gwyneth Paltrow in "Duets"...a very underrated karoake contest film !! Its one of my favorites.

Paul Giamatti lives in my neighborhood; he has a brownstone in Brooklyn Heights. I saw him walking down Atlantic Avenue one morning.

I was just going through some things here and looking at a Giamatti ONL ball signed by Buddy Bell right before I started reading this thread. Is Giamatti's son in that movie The Illusionist? What a great film.
