Default Here is a buyer to block

Last night, this buyer won a card at my auction for $521. The next morning there was an email waiting for me which was sent 45 minutes after the auction ended. Buyer claimed that they bid on the auction by accident and no longer want the card.

Has anyone bid on a auction by accident? I know it would take a few keystrokes to get your bid in. I would like to know why they waited 45 minutes to let me know that they placed the bid by accident.

Looking at the bidding history, this person placed over 30 bids on this card and the last one was about 4 hours before closing. Accident?

I don't usually like to put the buyers userid out there but his person has pissed me off and I don't want anyone else getting screwed by them.

The buyer was jimmyjay73

Not much you can do about it. eBay will just give them a non paying strike(supposedly) and you won't get your money.

I had a buyer not pay me for a month and ignored me. I relisted the item and put his username, full name, city and state in the description. All you can do.

That's pretty crappy. Did you ask him if all 30 bids he put on the card were "accidents".

Probably read the thread here when someone was questioning why the white hat Matty went for so much.

I was pretty surprised myself to see that card go for so much. I thought I missed something. The only thing I missed was this jerk running this card so high.

All you can do is send second chance offers and block the bidder.

Buyer has been blocked. Complaint was sent to eBay (might as well complain to my wall). Offered to second highest bidder who refused.

So, it's up for grabs again tonight.

I knew it was too good to be true.

Howard, You should put the SC350 factory 25 in your listing, it's a lot harder
to find than the factory 30. There is only one that was listed that way
on card target and that one sold in 2011.

Underbidder probably thought there was shilling going on to get to his max bid. It can sometimes hurt honest sellers when you have people like JimmyJay73 "accidentally" bid 30 times in an auction to drive up the price because potential buyers may ignore future listings of the card. Ebay should do more about people like him than give a supposed "non-paying strike".

Nice card though. Good luck with the sale.

I fat fingered a snipe bid once and paid a chunk more than I wanted for a card. Sounds like I should have notified the seller and explained my fat finger situation

I forgot to add the decimal point on a $40 card and sniped $4000. Thank goodness the underbidder didn't forget his as he bid $38.00!!!

Would you need a doctor's note for such an excuse, or would a photo of your pudgy digits suffice?

I have accidentally entered an incorrect amount (ex: $210 instead of $120) but I immediately corrected my bid.
