Default Picked up a Miller Huggins card today

I'm very happy about a 1919 Miller Huggins card that I scooped up this morning. It is now my earliest New York Yankee card.

Huggins served as Yankees manager from 1918-1929 (including the famed "1927 Murderers Row" before falling ill and dying in the last week of the 1929 regular season.

Do you have any neat Miller Huggins cards? Please share.

Miller Huggins was a listed as being only 5'5, and 140 lbs.

Hey Raymond

That pix of Huggins and Ruth was most likely taken circa 1926 -1927.

Most people don't realize that Ruth started a strict fitness program in the Winter of 1925. In which he lost 45 lbs by the
start of the 1926 season. Ruth continued this physical training program for the remainder of his playing days.

And, check this out, consequently Ruth's career stats from 1926 - 1933 were better than his stats in his younger years.
