Default What trimmed cards are worth $6,000?

Posted By: Paul

Does $6,000 sound like a bit much for a trimmed card? The listing clearly says the card is a little "short" left to right. Maybe the seller should have been clearer in the listing, but I emailed him and he was quite candid that he thought the card was trimmed.

Irelevant to the shortness issue, the scans are incredible.

I also notice that Gaynor listed an estimated value of $1,000-$1,200, so the bidders dictated this one.

I note the buyer, "rockets_lover", appears to be relatively new to eBay and has been spending tens of thousands of dollars on big-ticket cards in the last couple of weeks, often paying way over current "book." Feedback so far has been good.

That Buyer is OK by me. So far he has paid for everything he bought from me. However, I dread bidding against them if he ever goes after anything I really want.

Hi Brian
Although I wouldn't want to bid against him, It would be nice to list a few items he's interested in.
We all need people who pay more than book. later brian
